Three Lewis Men’s Basketball Players Awarded All-GLVC Honors; Renfro Named All-Defensive Team

The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its 2025 GLVC Men's Basketball Postseason Awards as three members of the Lewis Men's Basketball Team being named to an All-GLVC Team.  (Danville, Ill./Kankakee CC) led the way for the Flyers with his first team selection,  (Glen Ellyn, Ill./U.S. Military Prep)½ý²Ô»å  (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West) both earned spots on the second team. Renfro was also named to the All-GLVC Defensive Team. 

Stroud made the first team after playing and starting in all 27 contests in 2024-2025. The Danville, Illinois native is leading the team in scoring and rebounding so far with 17.0 points per game, which ranks fourth in GLVC on 57 percent shooting and third in total points with 460 in the GLVC.

The forward averaged 7.3 rebounds a contest, ranking sixth in the conference so far this season. Stroud was awarded the final GLVC Player of the Week honor after receiving this week for his performances against Quincy and Upper Iowa. 

Renfro was named to the second team after seeing action in 26 out of 27 games this season. He missed the part of last season due to injury and returned to earn his first All-GLVC honor in 2024-2025.  

The forward scored 12 points per game on 55 percent shooting while pulling down 6.1 rebounds a contest. The Glen Ellyn, Illinois native was also named to the All-GLVC Defensive Team for his performance on the defensive side of the ball.

Warden received second-team honors after his performance on the court this season. The guard has played in every contest so far in 2024-2025 and started in 27 of those games.

Warden ranked second on the team in scoring (14.2 points per game) on 50 percent shooting and 37 from three while dishing out 2.9 assists and 1.2 steals a contest (both lead the team). 

Renfro was also the GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award Honoree for men's basketball.
